Kia ora e hoa,
I want to introduce something special that I have been working on.
It is a web application useful to optometrists and optical dispensers.
The motivation:
  1. I want to learn how to create a website using Django and ‘productionise’ it.
  2. I do these calculations at work. There are resources available, but I wanted to build my own.
I have a motivation to learn and a problem to solve. Perfect!
Here is the website live:

There is code above this that productionises (using other technologies like a virtual machine, NGINX, gunicorn, docker), but it’s a bit messy.
In the future, I’ll write a blog post about this.
Would you mind letting me know if you have any ideas or feedback?
Thanks for reading, and all the best for the week ahead.
Ngā mihi nui,
Shivan :)
